About Waterford Technologies

In 2001 Waterford Technologies (based in Waterford, Ireland) delivered the first email management software for reporting and analyzing the vast amounts of email. MailMeter Insight provided never before seen information about email usage. Using its unique drill-down reports, customers took charge of discovering wasteful email practices, monitoring inappropriate email usage, and enforcing policies.

In 2003 MailMeter Archive was launched to provide email archiving. With estimates of email growth at 40% per year, and with the recent increases in government regulations, a solution to manage the large amounts of email that needs to be stored and retrieved at a moment's notice is a "must have" for every organization.

In 2005 MailMeter ISR was released to provide searching and retrieval for individuals to search the MailMeter Archive. MailMeter Investigate was added as a tool for for eDiscovery and legal investigations to provide fast searching across multiple mailboxes and export capability.

In 2006 MailMeter Storage Manager offered email storage savings with attachment stubbing. It provided Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino installations with 70-80% savings in their email server storage - reducing backup times, improving reliability, and boosting end user productivity.

In 2007 MailMeter Compliance Review was added to deliver automatic email reviews for financial services organizations as well as acceptable usage monitoring for every organization.

In 2008 MailMeter File Archiver expanded the storage savings and management to network file servers. IT departments can automatically monitor and manage the huge amount of individual files across all file servers.
