E-Risk Services underwriters use email extensively to correspond with insurance brokers, who often state and alter terms regarding underwriting policies in emails.

E-Risk Services wanted to help its employees efficiently and effectively archive emails and be able to quickly search for emails to help employees provide evidence of mission-critical communications related to their interactions with insurance brokers.

E-Risk Services' network administrator, Chuck Smith, was concerned about emails being stored on desktop computers and the user PST files being vulnerable to being corrupted and even erased.
